At DONTE GROUP, we firmly believe that access to quality oral healthcare is a fundamental right for everyone. This is why, as part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we highlight our efforts to advance towards a more inclusive and accessible dentistry.
Through initiatives such as our collaboration with Fundación PRODIS, we provide personalized care and special conditions for individuals with intellectual disabilities in our clinics. Additionally, we have welcomed two PRODIS students to our team. “This partnership exemplifies the positive impact a well-designed inclusion policy can achieve. These initiatives not only transform lives but also enrich our organizations by bringing new perspectives and talents,” says Ángela Picazo, Vitaldent delegate and member of DONTE GROUP’s Diversity Committee.
We also focus on training our teams across more than 80 clinics, supported by Fundación PRODIS, to ensure appropriate and tailored care for all patients. “One of the key achievements of the Diversity Committee, created to foster safe environments, projects, and protocols, has been the training and development of team members to care for people with disabilities—something essential and fundamental in the dental sector,” says Dr. María Latorre, Periodontics Coordinator and member of DONTE GROUP’s Diversity Committee.
These efforts are complemented by our work to make our facilities and websites more accessible, contributing to the creation of inclusive spaces for everyone.
Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is evident in every step we take, and we continue to work through our Diversity Committee to drive projects that make a real difference in people’s lives. “Making oral healthcare accessible to those who need it most is part of our purpose and a testament to our commitment to building a fairer and more inclusive society,” emphasizes Javier Martín, CEO of DONTE GROUP.
At DONTE GROUP, we place people at the center of everything we do, reaffirming our mission to improve dentistry, society, and the planet.
