Moonz, our dental brand specializing in pediatric orthodontics and dentistry, and the ANAR Foundation, an organization dedicated to the promotion and defense of children’s and adolescents’ rights, have renewed their collaboration agreement. The aim of this agreement is to continue providing dental care to minors residing in ANAR foster homes in Madrid.
The renewal ceremony was presented by journalist Laura Eguiluz and took place at the Moonz center in La Moraleja. Attendees included Ana Milans, Head of Corporate Alliances and Event Organization at the ANAR Foundation; Dr. Javier Girón de Velasco, General Manager of Moonz; Myriam Sada, co-founder of Moonz; Ana Martínez, Head of Sustainability at our company; as well as representatives from the foster homes: Pepi Martín, Patricia Molina, and social educator Juana Martín.
Moonz will continue to provide free dental check-ups to the children living in the two ANAR Foundation foster homes in Madrid, also covering the full cost of any orthodontic treatments needed after these check-ups, reaffirming their commitment to children’s
dental health.
Additionally, DONTE GROUP has contributed funding that will allow approximately 60 requests for help through the ANAR Phone/Chat service to be covered. These requests are handled by professionals in psychology, law, and social work specializing in childhood and adolescence, providing assistance and protection to children and teens facing issues such as cyberbullying, sexual abuse, domestic violence, or mental health
challenges.
For ANAR Foundation and DONTE GROUP, this renewal marks an important step toward democratizing dental health and promoting the rights of at-risk minors. As Dr. Javier Girón de Velasco, General Manager of Moonz, highlighted: “We want to contribute not only to the dental health of the children in foster care but also to their education in dental hygiene, helping them develop healthy habits in their daily lives.”
Committed to the protection and care of children, the agreement also includes initiatives for employees of all our brands, focusing on identifying signs of risk in children and adolescents.
