Madrid, May 13, 2025.– DONTE GROUP, a leading oral health group in Spain, has closed the 2024 financial year with a turnover of more than 385 million euros, which represents an increase of 6.5% compared to the previous year, far exceeding the growth of the dental market, estimated at 1.8% for the same period according to data from the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies (Fenin).
The business model focused on excellence in care and improvement of patient experience has been accompanied by an increase in the number of people treated in its four brands (Moonz, Vitaldent and its Smysecret and MAEX dental aesthetics line), reaching the record number of almost 700,000 patients treated in the last year. DONTE GROUP has also expanded its network of centres, closing 2024 with a total of 417 of its own clinics throughout the country, which represents a growth of 17 clinics compared to the previous year. This growth has been reinforced with the incorporation of new centres in Vitaldent and doubling the number of MAEX clinics, amplifying the model of dentistry of excellence to new cities such as: Alicante, Bilbao, Ibiza, Pontevedra and Vigo.
“We are demonstrating that our multi-brand strategy, under a single and integrated operating model of our own clinics, is successful. We grow three times as fast as the market and we do so with a focus on excellence, technology and social commitment. We are very pleased with the achievements made in 2024, a year that has been not only a reaffirmation of our leadership, but also a step forward in our purpose of making oral health care accessible to more and more people. This evolution drives us to continue working with rigour, passion and responsibility, with a view to a healthier, fairer and more sustainable future for all”, highlights Javier Martín Ocaña, CEO of DONTE GROUP.
Transformation and impact
DONTE GROUP’s commitment to the oral health market in Spain, which covers all dental disciplines and more than 90% of the different market segments, is one of the most complete in the sector at European level. The Group has continued to strengthen its professional structure to exceed 3,200 employees and more than 2,200 collaborating doctors, consolidating a team of more than 5,000 healthcare professionals. In the last two years, DONTE GROUP has increased nearly 200 new professionals in its workforce, thus expanding the talent and capillarity of its centres.
This growth has been possible thanks to the company’s focus on excellence in care and improving the clinical experience of patients
The range of services offered by the Group’s clinics is completed with a constant investment in digital transformation systems and advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence in pre-diagnosis, conscious sedation or guided surgery that drive their expansion in the market and the improvement in patient satisfaction.
On the other hand, the patient experience continues to be a priority: DONTE GROUP has more than 100,000 reviews with an average rating of 4.9 stars, and its internal NPS index exceeds 67 points, which consolidates society’s confidence in its healthcare model and in the work of DONTE GROUP’s brands.
Strategic Plan 2025-2030
DONTE GROUP has announced its 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, a transformation project that seeks to consolidate its leadership as the leading oral health operator in Spain and also position itself as a benchmark in Europe.
Among its objectives, they highlight: to be able to attend to the oral health of 1,300,000 patients and to exceed 600 of its own clinics, in a very fragmented market such as Spain where nearly 23,000 independent clinics currently operate, which would mean almost doubling the current turnover to reach 700 million euros in turnover in the next six years.
This growth will be accompanied by the creation of more than 1,000 new jobs, in addition to the incorporation of between 400-500 highly qualified dentists.
The six-year plan also contemplates continuing with a strong policy of investment in technology and infrastructure, aimed at providing all centers with the latest clinical innovations, including both state-of-the-art equipment such as CT scans or intraoral scanners, as well as software systems in pre-diagnostic AI, guided surgery, 3D printing systems, conscious sedation or remote dental monitoring systems for patients at home.
This Plan focuses on the national oral health market, although it is not ruled out at some point to evaluate a possible international expansion, as well as the progressive expansion of its presence in the spectrum of other specialties and services of the private health sector.
#HuellaDONTE: Sustainability and accessibility as axes for the future
The new Non-Financial Information Statement (NFIS) for 2024 has marked a qualitative leap in the company’s ESG strategy, which has consolidated the analysis of double materiality as a strategic basis, in line with the new requirements of the European Union’s CSRD Directive.
Likewise, this report includes multiple monitoring KPIs in terms of sustainability, the implementation of a Decarbonization Plan with objectives validated by SBTi, the update of the carbon footprint calculation methodology (especially Scope 3), currently being certified in CSA under S&P ESG rating standards and the promotion of initiatives aimed at better governance and digitization of ESG data.
On the social level, DONTE GROUP has intensified its cooperation with social entities such as the Spanish Red Cross, Caritas, ONCE Social Group, or Foundations such as La Caixa, Tengo Hogar, Prodis and ANAR, facilitating access to oral treatments for thousands of people in vulnerable situations or at risk of exclusion with a social tariff. Through initiatives such as interest-free financing, free diagnostics or social tariffs for certain groups, the group reaffirms its commitment to the universality of the service and territorial equity.
“At DONTE GROUP we understand sustainability and social impact as a comprehensive commitment that is considered in all our decisions. Our model is based on three pillars: caring for people, good corporate governance and the health of the planet. We promote accessible, ethical and responsible dentistry, convinced that only in this way can we leave a positive legacy in society. We will continue to innovate, not only clinically, but also in how we contribute to a fairer, healthier and more sustainable future for all,” concludes Javier Martín Ocaña.
