At DONTE GROUP, we reaffirm our commitment to accessible oral healthcare through a collaboration agreement with Cruz Roja Española. Thanks to this initiative, we offer a “social rate” and free services at nearly 400 Vitaldent clinics for people in vulnerable situations, ensuring their access to quality dental care.
“We firmly believe that oral health is a fundamental right. That is why we work to remove barriers and ensure that those who need it most can access quality treatments. This collaboration with Cruz Roja Española reinforces our commitment to social inclusion and the well-being of individuals,” says Javier Martín Ocaña, CEO of DONTE GROUP.
Cruz Roja Española, a benchmark in the fight against inequality, works to improve access to essential resources and promote health and well-being. Their work is key to ensuring equal opportunities and improving the quality of life for thousands of people.
As part of our commitment to the democratization of oral healthcare, at DONTE GROUP we continue to drive initiatives that help reduce inequalities in access to dental treatments. Additionally, we have developed studies such as Oral Health and Economic Exclusion: An Avoidable Social Cost, which analyze the impact of lack of dental care in society and the resources needed to address this issue.
The study results show that solving a major social and public health problem affecting nearly 4 million people over the age of 15 (according to the 2020 European Health Survey) would require an estimated budget ranging between 277 and 208 million euros, depending on the methodology used.
